ICBC First-Half Net Profit Up 3.3% to RMB 173.68 Billion, Plans Dividend
ICBC reported a 3.3% year-on-year increase in net profit attributable to shareholders to RMB 173.682 billion for the first half of 2026. Operating revenue rose 9.1% to RMB 465.859 billion. The bank proposed a cash dividend of RMB 1.511 per 10 shares. Non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.52% with a provision coverage ratio of 202.87%.
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) released its interim report for 2026. In the first half of the year, the bank achieved operating revenue of RMB 465.859 billion, up 9.1% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached RMB 173.682 billion, an increase of 3.3%. Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.47. The bank proposed a cash dividend of RMB 1.511 per 10 shares (pre-tax).
As of the end of June, ICBC's non-performing loan balance stood at RMB 3.72 trillion, with a non-performing loan ratio of 1.52%. The provision coverage ratio was 202.87%, and the capital adequacy ratio was 15.26%.
