Intel Names Dean Jarnac Executive VP and Chief Sales Officer, Joining in September 2026
Intel appointed Dean Jarnac as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer, effective immediately, to lead its global sales organization across client, data center, AI, networking, and custom chip businesses. Jarnac, formerly Marvell's Chief Sales Officer, brings over 30 years of semiconductor industry experience. He will officially join Intel in September 2026 and report to CEO Lip-Bu Tan. Greg Ernst, a nearly 27-year Intel veteran, will depart as part of the transition.
Intel has announced the appointment of Dean Jarnac as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. With immediate effect, Jarnac will lead the company's global sales organization, with a focus on strengthening customer relationships and advancing the market execution of Intel's full product portfolio, covering client, data center, artificial intelligence (AI), networking, and custom chips (ASIC) business segments. Jarnac previously served as Chief Sales Officer at Marvell, where he oversaw global sales, field application engineering, and sales operations. He has also held senior sales leadership positions at Broadcom and AMD, bringing more than 30 years of experience in customer collaboration and business growth within the semiconductor industry. Jarnac will officially join Intel in September 2026 and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Lip-Bu Tan. As part of this management transition, Greg Ernst, who has worked at Intel for nearly 27 years, will be leaving the company. Intel acknowledged Greg Ernst's contributions over the years.
