JA Solar Says It Is Tracking Base-Metal Substitution, Silver-Coated Copper in Pilot Stage

JA Solar said at its earnings briefing that it continues to monitor base-metal substitution technologies and has reserved multiple R&D routes. The silver-coated copper route is currently controlled at the mass-production pilot stage.
