JAC Motors August Sales Fall 16.83% to 26,986 Units
JAC Motors reported August 2026 sales of 26,986 vehicles, down 16.83% year-on-year, while production fell 5.59% to 26,058 units. New-energy passenger vehicle output reached 2,224 units and sales 2,951 units. For January-August, cumulative sales dropped 8.17% to 228,000 units, with production down 2.58% to 241,400 units.
JAC Motors announced on September 9 that its August 2026 production reached 26,058 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 5.59%, while sales totaled 26,986 vehicles, down 16.83% from the same period last year. Among these, new-energy passenger vehicle output stood at 2,224 units in August, with sales of 2,951 units.
On a cumulative basis, from January to August 2026, JAC Motors' total production amounted to 241,400 vehicles, down 2.58% year-on-year, while cumulative sales reached 228,000 vehicles, a decrease of 8.17% compared with the same period in the previous year.
