JD Industrial, Schaeffler Launch Robot Components Alliance to Cut Costs for 100 Manufacturers
JD Industrial, together with Schaeffler and other robotics supply chain companies, launched the Robot Components Industry Development Alliance at the 2026 World Robot Conference on August 20. The alliance aims to advance robot components from laboratory parameters to industrial-grade usability, scalable mass production and commercial profitability. Over the next three years, JD Industrial plans to help 100 robot body manufacturers achieve cost reductions across all product categories and support 100 component suppliers in doubling their business performance.
On August 20, at the 2026 World Robot Conference, JD Industrial, together with Schaeffler, Qingdao Yunlu, Suzhou Yuankong, Yifei Intelligent, Xiamen Hongfa, Dahuan, Shuangyuan Technology, Shanghai Junyi and other robotics supply chain companies, jointly launched the Robot Components Industry Development Alliance. The alliance aims to advance robot components from laboratory parameters to industrial-grade usability, scalable mass production and commercial profitability.
JD Industrial said that over the next three years it will help 100 robot body manufacturers achieve cost reductions across all product categories and support 100 component suppliers in doubling their business performance. The alliance focuses on supply chain collaboration, with participating companies covering bearings, magnetic materials, controllers, actuators, connectors, testing equipment and other component segments.
