Published: Updated: By 24TopNews Editorial Desk

Jiuli Special Material reported a 52.55% year-on-year decline in first-half net profit to RMB 393 million, with revenue down 36.38% to RMB 3.884 billion. The company attributed the results to industry restructuring, weak downstream demand, delayed overseas deliveries due to Middle East tensions, and a high comparison base from large pipeline projects in the prior-year period.

Jiuli Special Material disclosed its 2026 interim report on August 24. During the reporting period, the company achieved total operating revenue of RMB 3.884 billion, down 36.38% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 393 million, down 52.55% year-on-year; basic earnings per share were RMB 0.41.

The company said that during the reporting period, the industry was in a cycle of structural optimization and adjustment, downstream demand was periodically weak, coupled with delayed overseas order deliveries due to the Middle East geopolitical situation, and a high base formed by the concentrated delivery of large projects such as pipeline steel pipes in the same period of 2025, which collectively affected the current operating results.
