Johnson & Johnson Suzhou Park Marks 20 Years with Expanded Facilities and First Domestic Electrophysiology

Johnson & Johnson celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Suzhou industrial park, where it has become the company's largest medical technology supply chain base in China. The park completed factory expansions for surgery and cardiac electrophysiology, adding core manufacturing capabilities in minimally invasive and energy surgery, and launched its first domestically produced electrophysiology production line.

Fan Bo, Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Committee, met with Tim Schmid, Executive Vice President and Worldwide Chairman of MedTech at Johnson & Johnson, on September 2, and together they attended the 20th anniversary event of Johnson & Johnson Suzhou. The company first established operations in Suzhou in 2006 and has since continued to increase investment and expand production. The Suzhou industrial park has become Johnson & Johnson MedTech's largest supply chain base in China. In August 2026, Johnson & Johnson completed factory expansions for its surgery and cardiac electrophysiology businesses in Suzhou, adding core manufacturing capabilities in minimally invasive and energy surgery, and inaugurated its first domestically produced cardiac electrophysiology production line.

The two sides also exchanged views on deepening cooperation and fostering medical innovation achievements.
