Kanghong Biopharma's Conbercept Eye Injection Gets New ROP Indication Approval

Kanghong Biopharmaceuticals announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chengdu Kanghong Biotech Co. , Ltd. , has received a Drug Registration Certificate from the National Medical Products Administration, approving an additional indication for its Conbercept eye injection (brand name: Langmu). The newly approved indication covers the treatment of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in Zone I (stages 1+, 2+, 3, or 3+), Zone II (stage 3+), and aggressive posterior ROP (AP-ROP).

The receipt of the drug registration certificate means that Conbercept eye injection has expanded its therapeutic scope to include ROP, in addition to its previously approved indications. The approval of this indication provides a new treatment option for clinical use.
