Kouzijiao First-Half Net Profit Falls 48.97% to RMB365 Million
Kouzijiao reported a 48.97% year-on-year decline in net profit attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2026, totaling RMB365 million. Revenue fell 22.89% to RMB1.952 billion, while basic earnings per share dropped 49.17% to RMB0.61. The company attributed the sharper profit decline to proportionally smaller reductions in administrative and selling expenses relative to revenue.
Kouzijiao disclosed its semi-annual report on August 27, 2026. In the first half of 2026, the company achieved total operating revenue of RMB1.952 billion, down 22.89% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB365 million, a decrease of 48.97% from the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB0.61, down 49.17% year on year.
During the reporting period, operating revenue declined. Meanwhile, to support company operations and sustain market investment, administrative expenses and selling expenses fell at a slower pace than revenue, resulting in a larger drop in net profit.
On a quarterly basis, in the second quarter of 2026, Kouzijiao recorded total operating revenue of RMB576 million, down 20.03% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB36.1467 million, a decrease of 65.43% from the same quarter last year.
