Kuaishou Assists Police in Dismantling Two Late-Night Live-Streaming Pornography-Linked Fraud Rings, Arresting

Kuaishou Security Center, during routine patrols, identified organized black-market groups that chose late-night hours to broadcast implicit, borderline content. Through verbal cues or fleeting on-screen prompts, they lured users to external platforms to commit fraud. The center immediately formed a special task force, banned the relevant accounts, and submitted leads to authorities. Recently, Kuaishou Security Center assisted authorities in dismantling two live-streaming pornography-linked fraud rings, arresting 15 suspects and banning over 1957 accounts.

After detecting anomalies, Kuaishou Security Center banned accounts and reported leads, assisting authorities in arresting 9 suspects, 8 of whom were criminally detained. Another black-market group based in a certain location operated from a fixed base, controlling hundreds of accounts to broadcast vulgar, suggestive live streams, directing users to overseas pornographic websites. An overseas fraud ring then executed the fraud, settling proceeds in virtual currency. Kuaishou Security Center collected key leads and submitted them for action, assisting authorities in arresting 6 suspects, 3 of whom were criminally detained.

Investigations revealed that such black-market crimes exhibit high organization, chain-like structure, strong concealment, and off-platform monetization. The upstream supplies fraudulent websites and technical support, the middle layer coordinates and recruits agents for the fraudulent sites, the downstream executes account purchases and live-stream traffic generation, and the terminal layer consists of overseas fraud rings that monetize. Each link is independent and isolated. Kuaishou Security Center has upgraded multiple risk control strategies, including strengthening offline real-name identification, enhancing real-time detection of traffic-driving keywords in public accounts or service accounts, mining black-market crime chains to feed back into online real-time risk control, establishing multi-dimensional correlation strategies from accounts, devices, and behaviors, and increasing nighttime patrols. Simultaneously, Kuaishou Security Center cuts off the black-market account supply chain at the source, compresses their living space, and promotes the normalization of data sharing and joint analysis mechanisms.
