Lenovo Launches ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7 All-in-One With Intel Core Series 3 and 120Hz Display
Lenovo has introduced the ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7 all-in-one, just weeks after the Gen 6 model. The new desktop features Intel Core Series 3 processors (Wildcat Lake architecture), with a choice of Core 5 320 or Core 7 350, both with six cores. It includes 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X memory at 7467 MT/s, dual M. 2 slots supporting up to 1TB each, and a 23.8-inch 1080p anti-glare IPS display with 99% sRGB coverage and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Lenovo has launched the ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7 all-in-one just weeks after introducing the Gen 6 series. The previous Gen 6 model used Lunar Lake architecture; the new generation is powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors (Wildcat Lake architecture), available as a Core 5 320 or Core 7 350. Both chips have six cores, comprising two performance cores and four low-power efficient cores, using Cougar Cove performance cores and Darkmont low-power efficient cores also found in Panther Lake chips. They target high energy efficiency and the entry-level desktop market.
The machine comes with 16GB or 32GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory running at 7467 MT/s. The memory is not user-upgradable, but the chassis has two M. 2 slots, each supporting up to 1TB of storage. The display is a 23.8-inch 1080p anti-glare IPS panel with 99% sRGB coverage and a 120Hz refresh rate.
For connectivity, the system supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, and includes a 1Gbps wired Ethernet port. On the rear are multiple USB Type-A ports and a USB Type-C port with 20Gbps transfer speed; on the left side are another USB-C port, a USB-A port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
