Levima New Material said on August 31 that supply of lithium battery additive VC has tightened since 2026, pushing prices up steadily, driven by rapid growth in new energy vehicles and energy storage, along with constrained effective capacity. The company noted its VC unit runs stably with full production and sales, supported by self-developed technology and self-supplied raw materials.
Levima New Material stated on its interactive platform on August 31 that due to the rapid development of end markets such as new energy vehicles and energy storage, as well as constraints on effective capacity supply, supply of the lithium battery additive VC has gradually tightened since 2026, with market prices showing a steady upward trend.
