The device also integrates environmental monitoring for temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, volatile organic compounds, particulate matter, and air pressure. A single Spot device can determine whether a room is occupied and continuously monitor indoor air quality and environmental comfort, with the data usable to understand meeting room utilization, workplace environmental health, and energy efficiency. In the Logitech Sync platform, the data is divided into three categories: space utilization, space health, and space energy. With the opening of new interfaces, this data can flow directly to external management platforms.

Platforms including Appspace, Robin, and Zoom can use Spot's millimeter-wave detection data to automatically complete meeting check-in, space booking, and release of vacant space, reducing the situation where meeting rooms are booked but not actually used. Platforms such as Planon, Spaceti, and VergeSense combine office floor plans, booking records, and data collected by Spot to assess workplace demand and help managers find areas with low utilization. For property management and administrative teams, real-time occupancy data allows managers to remotely understand the actual use of floors and rooms without having to check room by room whether meeting rooms are occupied.

At the device control level, platforms including Extron, Q-SYS, Utelogy, and Xyte can use data provided by Spot to automatically adjust equipment and the environment. When a room is detected as unoccupied, the system can automatically shut down some equipment, reduce lighting intensity, or adjust air conditioning operation to cut energy consumption. In air quality management, based on environmental indicators continuously monitored by Spot, relevant management systems can automatically trigger alert mechanisms. When indoor carbon dioxide concentration rises, air quality declines, or particulate matter exceeds limits, the management system will issue a notification. Spot is connected to multiple workplace software platforms, and the related data can be used for sensing, analysis, and execution.
