LONGi Wuhu Base Achieves CMMM Level 4 Certification, AI Inspection Boosts Defect Detection by 80%

LONGi's Wuhu production base has passed the Level 4 certification of China's Intelligent Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model (CMMM). The certification covers 15 key processes, including supply chain procurement, intelligent production scheduling, equipment maintenance, energy management, safety and environmental protection, and logistics distribution.

As a core production base for BC modules such as Hi-MO 9 and Hi-MO X10, the Wuhu facility has deployed seven AI engines applied to employee skills management, production scheduling, quality inspection, equipment maintenance, process optimization, energy management, and warehousing and logistics.

The plant's full-chain AI quality inspection platform has increased defect detection efficiency by 80% and reduced the incidence of quality issues across the entire line by 40%. Upgrades to equipment and processes in the four main sections—screen printing, welding, layout, and rework—have improved production efficiency by 21%. An intelligent dispatch system has raised dispatch efficiency by 60%, while an AI-controlled 'wind-water linkage' system has cut overall energy consumption by 7%. Through the deep application of AI, the base's intelligent manufacturing capability has evolved from single-point automation to a systematic improvement across the entire value chain.
