Longyuan Power August 2026 Output Up 6.35% on Solar Growth
Longyuan Power reported August 2026 electricity generation of 5.608 million MWh, up 6.35% year-on-year, driven by a 20.67% surge in solar output. Wind generation rose 1.13%. Cumulative 2026 output through August fell 1.31% to 50.584 million MWh, with wind down 5.76% and solar up 19.17%.
Longyuan Power announced that its consolidated electricity generation for August 2026 totaled 5,608,057 MWh, an increase of 6.35% compared with the same month in 2025. Wind power generation rose 1.13% year-on-year, while solar power generation increased 20.67%.
As of August 31, 2026, the company's cumulative generation for 2026 reached 50,583,726 MWh, down 1.31% from the same period in 2025. Wind power generation declined 5.76% year-on-year, whereas solar power generation grew 19.17%.
