lululemon Appoints Huang Shanyan as China and Asia Pacific President, Jeffrey Hang as Senior VP
lululemon has promoted Huang Shanyan to President for China and Asia Pacific, effective immediately. Huang, who joined the company in January 2018, was instrumental in making China one of lululemon's most important international markets. Separately, Jeffrey Hang has joined as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific, reporting to Huang. Hang previously led Bulgari's Southeast Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand operations and served as Louis Vuitton's China CEO. Interim co-CEO André Maestrini said the appointments will support growth in the region.
Huang Shanyan has been promoted to President of lululemon for China and Asia Pacific. She joined lululemon in January 2018 and played a key role in driving the company's business development in China, helping the Chinese market become one of lululemon's most important international markets. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving strategic development in the China and Asia Pacific markets.
Jeffrey Hang has officially joined lululemon as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific. He previously served as Managing Director for Bulgari in Southeast Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand, and also held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Louis Vuitton in China. At lululemon, Jeffrey will lead the Asia Pacific team, focusing on accelerating growth, strengthening brand influence, and supporting the company's long-term development strategy. He will report to Huang Shanyan.
