Mango Media Launches First Official 'Journey to the West: The Later Years' Merchandise
Mango Media said on Sept. 2 that the first batch of official merchandise from the hit drama 'Journey to the West: The Later Years' is now available on Mango TV and its content e-commerce platform Mango E-commerce. The plush toys 'Sun Xiaosheng' and 'Little Fat Monkey' lead the offerings, with more items to come as the company expands the show's IP value.
Mango Media said on Sept. 2 during the 2026 Hunan-listed companies investor online group reception day and interim results briefing that, following the broadcast of "Journey to the West: The Later Years," the main characters have been widely well received by audiences. The first batch of official merchandise, led by the plush toys "Sun Xiaosheng" and "Little Fat Monkey," has been launched simultaneously on Mango TV.
More related merchandise is being sold on the company's content e-commerce platform Mango E-commerce, providing viewers with a "watch-and-shop" content consumption channel and further expanding the IP derivative value of "Journey to the West: The Later Years."
