Microsoft has accidentally leaked the design of a new Copilot icon that retains the existing logo's color scheme and silhouette while adopting a flat, minimalist design. The icon surfaced in the Edge Canary test build through an experimental toggle called 'Edge Icon Refresh', currently available only to Microsoft internal devices and employees. The same icon has also appeared in other products. Microsoft has not confirmed a launch timeline.

Microsoft has recently accidentally leaked the design of its new Copilot icon. The new icon largely follows the color scheme and overall outline of the existing Copilot logo, but removes the three-dimensional visual effect in favor of a more simplified, flat design language. This design direction aligns with the broader trend among technology products toward minimalist and flat icons.

In the Edge Canary test build, Microsoft has added an experimental toggle named 'Edge Icon Refresh', which is currently available only on Microsoft's internal devices and to its employees.

The same icon has also appeared in other products. Microsoft has not confirmed when the new icon will be rolled out.
