Microsoft Edge Tests Apple Account Login with Experimental Settings
Microsoft Edge is testing Apple account sign-in, following its existing Google account support. The feature appears in Edge Beta 152.0.4191.10 and is live in Canary build 153.0.4210.0. Users can enable it via experimental settings for an Apple sign-in button and account login, which redirects to Apple's authentication page and supports iPhone verification on iOS 17 or later. Additional recent features include an enhanced passkey icon, direct Google account data import, and automatic cancellation of notifications from scam or malicious sites. The rollout covers Windows and macOS, with iOS and iPadOS versions not yet mentioned, and is being gradually released.
