As a result, Microsoft decided to turn the feature off by default. Users who need the feature can enable it manually in settings.
The following versions have text prediction disabled: Word for Windows 20430.20000 and later, Word for iOS 2.112 Build 26080127, Word for Android 16.0.20326.20000 and later, Outlook Classic for Windows 20329.20000 and later, and Outlook for Mac 16.113 Build 26080119 and later.
Users can manually enable or disable the feature. The setting method is the same for Outlook for Mac. Going forward, such features will be disabled by default, and users can check the box manually to enable them if desired.
