MTR and Gamuda JV Win Sydney Metro West Parramatta Station Development Contract

MTR Corporation, together with two subsidiaries of Gamuda Berhad, has won a contract for the integrated development of the Parramatta station on the Sydney Metro West line in New South Wales, Australia. The contract covers the design and construction of the future Parramatta station and the development of the station's airspace and adjacent areas. The station is targeted to open in 2032, reducing travel time to Sydney's central business district to about 20 minutes.

MTR Corporation announced that a joint venture formed with two subsidiaries of Gamuda Berhad has been awarded the contract for the integrated development of the Parramatta station on the Sydney Metro West line in New South Wales, Australia. The contract includes the design and construction of the future Parramatta station, as well as the development of the station's airspace and adjacent projects. The joint venture, named Riverside Link, comprises MTR Corporation (Australia) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MTR, together with Gamuda Engineering Pty Ltd Australia and Gamuda (Australia) Pty Ltd. The partners will combine their expertise to advance this transit-oriented integrated development.

The Parramatta station on the Sydney Metro West line is targeted to open in 2032, at which point the journey between Parramatta station and Sydney's central business district will be reduced to approximately 20 minutes. The station's integrated development plan includes office, retail, and residential properties, which will be delivered in phases following the opening of the metro.
