China's National IC Fund Trims VeriSilicon Stake to 5%
China's National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund sold 494,700 shares of VeriSilicon Microelectronics on August 31, 2026, reducing its stake from 5.0941% to 5.0000% of total share capital. The disposal, executed via centralized bidding, drops the fund below the 5% threshold for major shareholders. VeriSilicon said the change does not affect control of the company, and the fund has no concrete plans to adjust its holding over the next 12 months beyond its previously disclosed reduction program.
VeriSilicon Microelectronics announced that National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Co. , Ltd. , a shareholder holding more than 5% of the company, reduced its stake by 494,700 shares on August 31, 2026, through centralized bidding transactions, representing 0.0941% of the company's total share capital. Prior to this change in equity, the National IC Fund held 5.0941% of the company; after the change, its holding stands at 5.0000%, and it is no longer a shareholder holding more than 5% of the company.
The change in equity will not result in any change of control of the company. The National IC Fund's previously disclosed reduction plan has not yet been fully implemented, and apart from the disclosed plan, there is no concrete arrangement to increase or decrease its holding within the next 12 months.
