New China Life reported a 54.02% year-on-year increase in net profit attributable to shareholders to RMB 22.79 billion for the first half of the year, with earnings per share of RMB 7.31 and an interim dividend of RMB 0.73 per share. Operating revenue rose 18.9% to RMB 83.26 billion, while original insurance premium income grew 6.9% to RMB 129.57 billion. New business value increased 11.9% to RMB 6.92 billion.

New China Life announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 22.79 billion, up 54.02% year on year. Earnings per share stood at RMB 7.31, and the company declared an interim dividend of RMB 0.73 per share. During the period, operating revenue totaled RMB 83.26 billion, an increase of 18.9% year on year. Original insurance premium income amounted to RMB 129.57 billion, up 6.9%, while new business value rose 11.9% to RMB 6.92 billion.
