New Hope Liuhe Posts RMB55.59 Billion Revenue, RMB1.70 Billion Net Loss in H1 2026
New Hope Liuhe reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB55.59 billion, up 7.68% year on year, with a net loss attributable to shareholders of RMB1.70 billion, versus a profit of RMB755 million a year earlier. The company sold 8.21 million pigs and 16.25 million tonnes of feed. First-quarter revenue rose 11.77% to RMB27.29 billion, with a net loss of RMB898 million.
New Hope Liuhe Co. , Ltd. released its 2026 interim report on August 28. In the first half of the year, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB55.59 billion, up 7.68% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders was a loss of RMB1.70 billion, compared with a profit of RMB755 million in the same period of 2025, a decline of 325.5%. Non-GAAP net profit, excluding non-recurring items, was a loss of RMB1.72 billion, versus a profit of RMB701 million in the prior-year period, down 345.76%.
During the reporting period, total feed sales reached 16.25 million tonnes, of which external sales amounted to 13.16 million tonnes. External feed sales comprised 9.08 million tonnes of poultry feed, 2.71 million tonnes of swine feed, 980,000 tonnes of aquatic feed, and 320,000 tonnes of ruminant feed. The feed business generated operating revenue of RMB41.44 billion.
The company sold a total of 8.21 million pigs, comprising 7.11 million commercial hogs, 849,000 piglets, and 252,000 breeding pigs, generating operating revenue of RMB9.46 billion. It slaughtered 1.96 million hogs, contributing RMB3.48 billion in revenue. The overall hog business achieved operating revenue of RMB12.94 billion.
In the first quarter of 2026, New Hope reported operating revenue of RMB27.29 billion, up 11.77% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders was a loss of RMB898 million, down 301.87% year on year. Non-GAAP net profit was a loss of RMB925 million, down 312.64% year on year. For the full year 2025, the company recorded operating revenue of RMB106.86 billion, up 3.68% year on year, with a net loss attributable to shareholders of RMB1.78 billion, down 476.76%, and a non-GAAP net loss of RMB1.47 billion, down 339.84%.
