Ningbo Zhoushan Port H1 Revenue Up 12.76% to RMB16.87 Billion, Plans RMB603 Million Dividend
Ningbo Zhoushan Port reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB16.873 billion, up 12.76% year on year, with non-GAAP net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB2.364 billion, up 2.53%. Container throughput rose 8.7% to 27.691 million TEUs, outpacing the national coastal port average by 2.8 percentage points. The company plans an interim cash dividend of RMB603 million, or RMB0.31 per 10 shares.
Ningbo Zhoushan Port disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report on the evening of August 27. During the first half, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB16.873 billion, up 12.76% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company, excluding non-recurring gains and losses, reached RMB2.364 billion, an increase of 2.53%. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB0.13, flat compared with the same period last year.
According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's total goods trade import and export value reached RMB25.47 trillion in the first half, with imports and exports growing 22.1% and 13.4%, respectively. Ningbo Zhoushan Port handled 27.691 million TEUs of containers in the first half, up 8.7% year on year, while cargo throughput reached 607 million tonnes, up 1%. Container throughput growth outpaced the average growth rate of coastal ports nationwide by approximately 2.8 percentage points.
In the bulk and general cargo segment, iron ore unloading volume reached 88.72 million tonnes, up 5.6%; crude oil unloading volume was 41.76 million tonnes, down 16.2%; and coal unloading volume totaled 30.97 million tonnes, down 2.9%. In shipping operations, subsidiary Ningbo Ocean Shipping achieved container transport volume of 3.772 million TEUs, up 21%.
As of the end of the reporting period, Ningbo Zhoushan Port had 260 international container routes, with a total route network of 312. Sea-rail intermodal routes increased to 113, covering 70 prefecture-level cities across 16 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).
During the reporting period, the company put into operation the world's largest and China's first batch of 10,000-tonne pure electric intelligent container vessels, and launched the country's first sea-river intermodal zero-carbon route. New energy power generation reached 50 million kWh in the first half. The company's self-developed TOS terminal operating system achieved full coverage of container terminals.
Ningbo Zhoushan Port plans to distribute a cash dividend of RMB603 million (including tax) to all shareholders for the 2026 interim period, equivalent to RMB0.31 per 10 shares (including tax).
