Nintendo Announces Zelda 40th Anniversary Symphony World Tour Starting in Tokyo in January 2027

Nintendo has announced a world tour of symphony concerts marking the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, with initial dates and venues now confirmed. The tour will open in Tokyo on January 23, 2027, before moving on to other cities in Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia. The concerts will feature a selection of music from the Zelda series, blending nostalgic classic melodies with more recent compositions from the franchise.

In Japan, performances are scheduled for Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Kyoto, and Kanagawa. The Tokyo premiere will take place on January 23, 2027, at Tokyo Garden Theater, while Kyoto will host two performances on April 3 and 4. The Kanagawa concert is set for April 27 at K-Arena Yokohama.

The North American leg will begin on February 22, 2027, at the Chicago Symphony Center, followed by stops in Seattle, Houston, and San Francisco. Seattle is planned for three consecutive performances from July 16 to 18, while the San Francisco concert is tentatively scheduled for October of the same year, with specific dates to be announced.

The European leg will open on April 3, 2027, at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Four performances have been confirmed in the United Kingdom so far: two in London, one in Edinburgh, and one in Glasgow. Stockholm will also host two concerts on June 18 and 19.

The Australian leg will begin in Melbourne on May 13, 2027, with four consecutive performances at Hamer Hall. The Sydney Opera House will host concerts on July 9 and 10, with two sessions on July 10, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.

Tickets for each performance will go on sale gradually from September 2026, with specific times determined by individual venues. Nintendo has stated that additional tour countries and cities will be announced in the future.
