Nvidia Said to Plan GeForce RTX 60 Series and Rubin Gaming Architecture for First Half of 2027

A new account has emerged of the timing for Nvidia's GeForce RTX 60 series graphics cards. The lineup is said to be planned for launch in the first half of 2027 and to use a Rubin gaming architecture. The launch window was approved several months ago, and the company has also set clear staged milestones to safeguard the 2027 release schedule.

Public information about the next-generation RTX cards remains limited, and Nvidia keeps related details closely guarded. One available detail concerns the RTX 6090, the top configuration in the Rubin architecture, whose physical design will differ from that of previous flagship products. Whether the model uses a chiplet design is not yet clear.

Earlier circulating information also indicated that the RTX 60 series would deliver a 35% performance improvement over the previous generation and double the ray tracing performance. None of those specifications has been confirmed by Nvidia. Against the backdrop of current RTX 5090 pricing, no pricing plan for the RTX 60 series has been announced.
