O-Film recently acquired a 51% equity interest in Hefei Zhongke Daojing Technology Co. , Ltd. through a combination of transferring existing shares and increasing capital, becoming the company's controlling shareholder. Zhongke Daojing was established in 2023 and builds on the research heritage of the Intelligent Microsystems Laboratory at the Institute of Intelligent Machines, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its core team consists of postdoctoral researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and senior researchers, with nearly a decade of experience in advanced glass-substrate packaging. The team has accumulated full-chain technical and industrialization expertise spanning core process development, process optimization, and mass-production conversion.
Previously, O-Film set up a machine vision company in June 2026, established O-Film Optical Micro-Nano Devices Company in July, and took a stake in Xin Guang Lian. The controlling stake in Zhongke Daojing represents another investment move by the company in the optical communications field.
