In the first half of 2026, OneConnect's external client revenue rose to 52.6% of the total, surpassing half for the first time. Over the same period, overseas revenue and overseas contract signings grew 35% and 55% year on year, respectively, and the company posted a third consecutive profitable quarter. OneConnect's overseas business now covers 20 countries and regions and has served more than 200 overseas financial institutions in total, with operations spanning Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Africa and other regions.
Since the start of 2026, OneConnect has delivered credit reference services for three Hong Kong note-issuing banks, an AI anti-fraud project for the Hong Kong Police Force, and a cloud migration project for the Hong Kong SAR government. Its subsidiary Ping An OneConnect Credit Reference Services (Hong Kong) Limited (CRA) signed an agreement with a note-issuing bank in Hong Kong, opening a channel for corporate data to flow both northbound and southbound. The company has built technology service solutions covering credit reference data (CRA), intelligent vision (AI anti-fraud), digital banking, digital insurance and digital office, among other areas.
In Southeast Asia, OneConnect has worked with Philippine consumer credit institution Security Bank Finance (SBF) since 2020, completing the build-out of an intelligent credit system and several rounds of iterative upgrades. In the first half of 2026, the two parties renewed a three-year operations and maintenance contract, upgrading the cooperation model from system delivery to long-term operational support. In Vietnam, the company is working with one of the country's top five commercial banks on a smart wealth project, marking its first wealth management product deal overseas. Under the plan, OneConnect will build a digital wealth management platform for the bank to support the systematic and intelligent upgrade of its private banking and wealth management operations.
On the product side, OneConnect is advancing large-model transformation around core capabilities in AI and data technology, focusing on six product categories: insurance core, banking core, intelligent voice, intelligent vision, the automotive ecosystem and the data ecosystem, embedding AI capabilities into business scenarios. In 2024, its clients were mainly domestic financial institutions; since 2025, its signings have covered multiple overseas clients in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Africa. Its service model is shifting from traditional one-off system delivery to a combination of business consulting, technology platforms and operating profit sharing, participating in financial institutions' business operations and capability building.
