OpenAI's CRO Denise Dresser Departs After Less Than a Year; Wiz's Dali Rajic Succeeds, Brad Lightcap Also
OpenAI announced on August 13 that Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser is leaving less than a year after joining, with Dali Rajic, former president and COO of cybersecurity firm Wiz, appointed as her successor. Dresser, who joined in December 2025, previously led Slack after a decade at Salesforce. Her exit follows the departure of longtime executive Brad Lightcap, who announced his resignation on Tuesday to pursue a new venture, marking the second senior leadership change in days.
OpenAI announced on August 13 that Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser is leaving, less than a year after joining the company. The company said Dresser is departing to pursue other opportunities and has hired Dali Rajic to succeed her. Rajic previously served as president and chief operating officer of cybersecurity company Wiz.
Dresser officially joined OpenAI in December 2025. Prior to that, she spent more than a decade as an executive at Salesforce and became CEO of Slack in 2023. Salesforce acquired the messaging company for more than US$27 billion in 2020.
Dresser's departure is the second senior management change at OpenAI within days. Longtime executive Brad Lightcap announced his departure on Tuesday, saying on social media platform X that he plans to start a new venture.
