PetroChina H1 Profit Up 22% to RMB103.9 Billion, Interim Dividend RMB0.26

PetroChina reported a 22.01% year-on-year increase in net profit attributable to shareholders to RMB103.94 billion for the first half, with basic earnings per share of RMB0.57. The company declared an interim dividend of RMB0.26 per share, up 18.18%. Revenue rose 5.34% to RMB1.53 trillion, while crude oil output fell 2.8% and natural gas output rose 2.3%.

PetroChina announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, with net profit attributable to shareholders reaching RMB103.94 billion, up 22.01% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB0.57, and the company declared an interim dividend of RMB0.26 per share, an increase of 18.18%.

During the period, operating revenue totaled RMB1.53 trillion, up 5.34% year-on-year, primarily due to the combined impact of higher prices for oil, gas, and chemical products, as well as changes in sales volumes.

In the first half, crude oil output was 463 million barrels, down 2.8% year-on-year; marketable natural gas output reached 2.75 trillion cubic feet, up 2.3%; and oil and gas equivalent output was 921 million barrels, down 0.3%.
