Robinhood Reports July 2026 Operating Data: 28.5 Million Funded Accounts, $355 Billion Assets, $5.6 Billion

Robinhood reported July operating data, showing funded accounts reached 28.5 million, up from 28.42 million in June 2026 and up 1.77 million year over year. Total platform assets were $355 billion, down 4% monthly but up 19% annually, now including President Trump's dedicated account. Net deposits were $5.6 billion, an 18% annualized rate, with $74.9 billion over twelve months. Stock notional volume declined 15% sequentially and rose 59% annually, while options volume increased 2% sequentially and 66% annually. Cryptocurrency trading fell sharply, and event contracts grew twentyfold.

On August 12, Eastern time, Robinhood released its July monthly operating data. As of end-July, funded accounts reached 28.5 million, an increase of approximately 80,000 accounts from end-June 2026 and a year-over-year increase of approximately 1.77 million. Total platform assets stood at $355 billion, down 4% from end-June and up 19% year over year. Beginning in July 2026, total platform assets include assets held in the dedicated account of President Trump managed by Robinhood. Net deposits in July totaled $5.6 billion, representing an annualized growth rate of 18% relative to total platform assets at end-June. Over the trailing twelve months, cumulative net deposits were $74.9 billion, equating to an annualized growth rate of 25% relative to total platform assets as of July 2025. In trading, notional stock trading volume in July was $333 billion, down 15% from June and up 59% year over year. Average daily trading volume was $15.1 billion, down 19% month over month and up 56% year over year. Options contracts traded totaled 324 million, up 2% from June and up 66% year over year; average daily options volume was 14.7 million contracts, down 3% from June and up 62% year over year. Cryptocurrency notional trading volume was $10.9 billion, down 33% from June and down 62% year over year. Of this, $4.3 billion traded on the Robinhood app, down 38% month over month and down 74% year over year; $6.6 billion traded on Bitstamp, down 30% month over month and down 45% year over year. Robinhood app average daily crypto trading volume was $139 million, down 40% sequentially and down 74% year over year; Bitstamp's daily average was $213 million, down 32% sequentially and down 45% year over year. Event contract volume totaled 6.1 billion contracts, down 5% from June and up 20 times year over year; daily average volume was 197 million contracts, down 8% from June and up 20 times year over year. On interest-bearing assets, margin balances at end-July were $20.7 billion, down 4% from end-June and up 82% year over year. Cash and deposits were $19.5 billion, up 4% from end-June and up 34% year over year. Cash sweep balances were $29.2 billion, down 2% from end-June and down 13% year over year. Securities lending revenue in July was $40 million, down 2% from June and down 34% year over year, of which net securities lending income was $1 million.
