Shandong International Trust Raises Stake in CZBank to 4% as Seventh-Largest Shareholder
Shandong International Trust increased its A-share holdings in CZBank for a second consecutive quarter, buying over 500 million shares in H1 2026 to reach nearly 1.1 billion shares, or 4% of total capital, becoming the seventh-largest shareholder. CZBank's total assets grew 6.17% from the start of the year to nearly RMB 3.7 trillion, while H1 revenue rose 0.02% to RMB 33.256 billion and net profit attributable to shareholders increased 2.05% to RMB 7.824 billion.
CZBank disclosed its half-year report on August 26, 2026, showing that Shandong International Trust Co. , Ltd. increased its A-share holdings in the bank for a second consecutive quarter. In the first half of the year, the trust bought more than 500 million additional shares, bringing its total to nearly 1.1 billion shares by the end of June, equivalent to 4% of the bank's total capital and making it the seventh-largest shareholder.
As of the end of June, CZBank's total assets stood at nearly RMB 3.7 trillion, up 6.17% from the start of the year but slightly lower than at the end of the first quarter. In the first half, the bank reported operating revenue of RMB 33.256 billion, up 0.02% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 7.824 billion, up 2.05% year on year.
