Shanghai Electric reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB 63.03 billion, up 16.7% year on year, with net profit attributable to shareholders reaching RMB 970 million, an 18.2% increase. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.062. The company attributed the growth to improved performance in its core business segments.
Shanghai Electric disclosed its 2026 interim report on August 30. The company achieved total operating revenue of RMB 63.03 billion in the first half of the year, up 16.7% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 970 million, an increase of 18.2% compared with the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.062.
The company said the growth in operating revenue and net profit during the reporting period was mainly driven by improved performance in its core business segments, achieving steady growth compared with the same period in 2025.
