Shanxi Coking Coal Says Major Idled Mines Mostly Back to Normal Production
Shanxi Coking Coal said at an earnings briefing that its major suspended mines, including Xiqu, Malan, Zhenchengdi, and Ximing, have largely resumed normal production. Xiqu restarted on August 26 after a second suspension following an accident, while Malan resumed on July 30. Zhenchengdi and Ximing were halted for about a month due to permit renewals. The company said the suspensions had limited impact on output.

Xiqu mine was suspended on July 23 and resumed on July 30, but was halted again on August 5 due to an accident. It resumed production as of August 26. Malan mine was suspended on July 27 and resumed on July 30.
Zhenchengdi and Ximing mines were suspended on July 27 and July 30, respectively, due to pending renewal of permits and licenses, with each suspension lasting about one month. The company said the suspensions had a limited impact on output, and its mines have now essentially resumed normal production.
