Shinva Medical Gets Regulatory Approvals for Respiratory Gating and Thoracoscopic Instruments

Shinva Medical announced it has received Class III medical device registration from China's National Medical Products Administration for a respiratory gating system, which captures patient breathing patterns for use with its CT equipment to produce motion-synchronized images. Separately, its subsidiary Shinva Surgical Instruments obtained Class II registration for thoracoscopic surgical instruments. The products target precision radiotherapy and minimally invasive endoscopic surgery.

The aforementioned products are applied in the fields of precision radiotherapy and minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, respectively.
