Simcere and Ruiyang Biopharma Partner on Novel Biologic, Securing Exclusive Greater China Rights
Simcere Pharmaceutical Group announced on August 20 that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Ruiyang (Shandong) Biopharmaceutical Co. , Ltd. regarding Kulaiweibai injection, a domestic Class 1 innovative biologic. Under the agreement, Simcere will obtain exclusive commercialization rights for Kulaiweibai in Greater China. The marketing authorization application for Kulaiweibai has been accepted by the Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration and has been included in the priority review and approval procedure.
