Sinoma International Posts 34.3% Net Profit Drop in H1 2026
Sinoma International reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB 21.262 billion, down 1.91% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 934 million, a decline of 34.3%. The company attributed the profit fall to foreign-exchange losses from the weakening US dollar and euro, versus gains in the same period of 2025, as well as lower gains on disposal of non-current assets.
Sinoma International disclosed its half-year report on August 25, 2026. For the first half of 2026, the company recorded operating revenue of RMB 21.262 billion, down 1.91% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company stood at RMB 934 million, a decrease of 34.3% from the same period last year. Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.36.
The company said the decline in net profit was mainly due to exchange losses arising from the depreciation of the US dollar and the euro during the reporting period, compared with exchange gains in the corresponding period of 2025. Additionally, gains on disposal of non-current assets decreased from the level recorded in the first half of 2025.
