Sinovac Chengdu Receives NMPA Certificate for Freeze-Dried Rabies Vaccine, First 4-Dose Serum-Free Regimen

On August 6, the freeze-dried human rabies vaccine (Vero cells) developed by Sinovac (Chengdu) Biological Products Co. , Ltd. , a subsidiary of Beijing Sinovac Holdings (Group) Co. , received the Drug Registration Certificate issued by the National Medical Products Administration. It is the first vaccine in China to employ a serum-free, simple four-dose regimen.
