Southwest Securities Names Li Jun General Manager; Yang Yusong Resigns on Transfer

Southwest Securities announced on August 5 that it appointed Li Jun as general manager and added him as a director of the tenth board. He succeeds Yang Yusong, who resigned on June 12, 2026, due to a work transfer, with Chairman Jiang Donglin having served as acting general manager for less than two months. Li, born in 1973, rose through the brokerage's ranks and previously served in the Chongqing state-owned assets system. The company has designated 2026 as its "year of improvement," pursuing digital transformation and dual-platform equity investment expansion.

Previously, former general manager Yang Yusong resigned on June 12, 2026, due to a work transfer, with Chairman Jiang Donglin having acted as general manager for less than two months. Upon Li Jun's arrival, Jiang Donglin concluded his acting duties. Li Jun, born in 1973 and holding a doctorate in management, rose from the front line of a business department to management within the Southwest Securities system, with a stint in the local state-owned assets system during that period.

Li Jun's position changes have been relatively frequent. In May 2025, he resigned as board secretary due to a division of responsibilities adjustment, continuing to serve as director and deputy general manager; in July of the same year, he resigned as deputy general manager due to position changes, retaining only his directorship. Earlier in his career, he served as assistant general manager of the Chengdu business department, business director, and deputy general manager of the brokerage business department, and held positions in several departments at the Chongqing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, while concurrently serving as an external director of Chongqing Yufu Asset Management Group Co. , Ltd. Within the Southwest Securities system, he also served as a director of Southwest Futures Co. , executive president of the brokerage business division and general manager of the operations management department, as well as a director of Xizheng Innovation Investment Co. and a supervisor of Yinhua Fund Management Co. In April 2023, Li Jun was promoted to deputy general manager of Southwest Securities, and in December of that year, he became a party committee member, director, deputy general manager, and board secretary. He currently serves as deputy party secretary and general manager of the company, as well as chairman of the Chongqing Securities and Futures Industry Association.

In the equity investment field, Southwest Securities deploys a dual-platform layout through its alternative investment subsidiary Xizheng Innovation Investment Co. and its private equity subsidiary Xizheng Equity Investment Co. Xizheng Innovation adheres to "investing early, investing small, investing long-term, and investing in hard technology," with new investments in new quality productivity sectors accounting for 100% of new projects in the first quarter of 2026. Xizheng Equity leverages fund platforms to mobilize social capital and integrate regional resources, with fund management scale reaching a record high in the first quarter of 2026. At the corporate governance level, since January 2025, Southwest Securities has streamlined its original 12 functional departments into 8, adding departments such as the Digital Finance Department and the Strategic Customer Department.
