SpaceXAI Launches Grok Bot AI Assistant for Windows, iOS Subscribers After $60 Billion Cursor Deal
SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot, an always-online AI assistant team that can log into users' tools and complete real work tasks across applications and email platforms. The beta service is available to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams subscribers on Windows, iOS, and other platforms. The company said the product began as an internal prototype and supports multiple Bots collaborating in parallel. SpaceXAI acquired AI coding startup Cursor for $60 billion in June 2026.
SpaceXAI released artificial intelligence software Grok Bot on August 11. The product is positioned as an always-online intelligent assistant team that can accept and complete real work tasks assigned by users. These AI assistants can log into tools commonly used by users, work across various applications and email platforms, complete tasks independently, and only reappear when approved by the user. Grok Bot is currently in beta testing and is available from today to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams subscribers on Windows, iOS, and other platforms.
SpaceXAI said the company initially developed Grok Bot as an internal prototype, which then spread rapidly within the company. Various teams have created Bots to handle sales outreach, marketing campaigns, daily office operations, and bug fixes. Users can send messages to Bots via mobile phone or computer and continue previous conversations on other platforms. Bots can remember conversation content and users' preferred working methods, and their work capabilities gradually strengthen as collaboration increases.
Grok Bot supports multiple Bots working in parallel. Users can place Bots in group chats, allowing them to assign tasks among themselves and designate responsible persons, only consulting users when a final judgment is needed. The company provides team configurations for sales, finance, product, and engineering. Bots can independently send messages to each other and share contextual information in conversations, without requiring users to manage multiple agents.
In June 2026, SpaceX acquired AI programming startup Cursor for $60 billion. Cursor focuses on tools for writing and debugging software code and holds a certain influence in the "vibe coding" field of the technology industry.
