On the evening of September 6, SPD Bank Shanghai Branch and the Shanghai Museum co-hosted the 'SPD Bank Night: World Tree Origins' special event at the museum's People's Square venue. The event was built around the 'Summit of the World Tree: Ancient Civilizations of the Americas' exhibition, the sixth installment in the 'Dialogue with the World' cultural relics and art series, and attracted nearly 3,000 guests.
The exhibition follows the native narrative of the 'Tree of Life' and presents five major ancient civilizations: Teotihuacan, Maya, Olmec, Aztec, and Andean America. At the event, these five civilizations were paired with five key business lines of SPD Bank: investment banking and M&A, technology finance, cross-border finance, wealth management, and SPD Trustee services.
SPD Bank Shanghai Branch and the Shanghai Museum have maintained a long-term strategic partnership. This special event represents a further achievement in their collaboration. By incorporating high-quality cultural and museum resources into its client service system, SPD Bank Shanghai Branch offers cultural experiences beyond traditional financial services.
SPD Bank Shanghai Branch also runs marketing initiatives around Shanghai's 'One Festival, Four Seasons' consumer festival brand, including the May 5 Shopping Festival, Shanghai Tourism Festival, Shanghai Summer, Shanghai Marathon, and Shanghai International Film Festival. It focuses on three major venues—the Oriental Sports Center, the Pudong Art Museum, and the Shanghai Museum—to organize activities for different client segments.
