Sun Hung Kai's Yuen Long Qian Yu sells 299 units in two weeks for over HK$1.6 billion
Sun Hung Kai Properties has sold 299 units at its Qian Yu residential project in Yuen Long within about two weeks of launch, generating over HK$1.6 billion in proceeds. Nearly 90 per cent of the price-list units have been sold. Over the past weekend, 40 transactions raised more than HK$220 million, including purchases by two bulk buyers. The project also recorded five tender transactions, with the top price reaching HK$19,630 per sq ft.
Sun Hung Kai Properties (00016) recorded further transactions at Qian Yu, its project at Kam Tin Ha Kiu Po Tsuen in Yuen Long, on August 2, bringing cumulative sales to 299 units since the launch about two weeks ago and realising over HK$1.6 billion. The day's deals included Flat D on the 10th floor of Block 1, a two-bedroom unit with a saleable area of 378 sq ft, which changed hands at HK$5.29 million, or HK$13,986 per sq ft; and Flat G on the 16th floor of Block 3, a two-bedroom unit with a saleable area of 360 sq ft, sold for HK$5.49 million, or HK$15,243 per sq ft. Around 90 per cent of the units listed on the price list have now been sold.

In addition, the project has recorded five tender transactions, with the highest transaction price reaching HK$19,630 per sq ft.
