Sungrow Reports 2 GWh AIDC Storage Orders in Pipeline

Sungrow Power Supply disclosed on August 28 during an institutional call that its AIDC-related business, comprising AIDC power supply and AIDC energy storage, holds about 2 GWh of orders in hand for AIDC storage, with projects under follow-up totaling over ten GWh. The company noted that no solid-state transformer has yet seen real-world application globally.

Sungrow Power Supply provided an update on its AIDC-related business during an institutional conference call on August 28. The company's AIDC operations consist of two segments: AIDC power supply and AIDC energy storage. Currently, orders in hand for the AIDC energy storage segment amount to approximately 2 GWh, with projects under follow-up exceeding ten GWh.

Globally, no solid-state transformer has yet been deployed in actual commercial application. Sungrow has established a presence and accumulated expertise in areas such as AIDC integration with renewable energy, energy storage, and standalone storage.
