Sunshine Insurance H1 2026 Net Profit Up 38.5% to RMB4.69 Billion

Sunshine Insurance released its interim results on August 28, 2026. For the first half of the year, net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached RMB4.69 billion, up 38.5% year on year. Total premium income amounted to RMB90.91 billion, an increase of 12.5%.

Insurance service revenue stood at RMB32.36 billion, down 0.3% year on year. The group's embedded value was RMB129.43 billion, up 7.2% from the end of 2025. Total assets reached RMB702.834 billion, an increase of 4.4% from the end of 2025.

On the investment front, the annualized net investment yield for the first half was 3.1%, and the annualized total investment yield was 3.6%, down 0.7 and 0.4 percentage points, respectively, year on year.
