Sunway Communication and Raytron Technology have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to jointly develop satellite communication chips and automotive millimeter-wave radar waveguide antennas. The partners will also establish mutual strategic supplier status, set up a joint laboratory, share R&D results, and participate in industry standard-setting.

Sunway Communication and Raytron Technology have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, under which the two companies will carry out in-depth industrialization cooperation in satellite communication and intelligent driving communication and sensing, extending their core technological capabilities in chips, radio frequency, and materials into the two strategic tracks. The parties will jointly promote the industrial application of satellite communication systems and terminals, and undertake the joint development of core satellite communication chips, components, antennas, and automotive millimeter-wave radar waveguide antenna solutions.

The agreement specifies that the two sides will establish a mutual strategic supplier relationship: Raytron Technology will give priority to purchasing Sunway Communication's core components such as radio frequency connections, high-speed interconnects, and precision structures, while Sunway Communication will give priority to selecting Raytron Technology's chip components including infrared sensing and microwave radio frequency. In addition, the two parties will set up a joint laboratory, share R&D results, jointly apply for patents and qualifications, and participate in the formulation of industry standards.
