Supor Co. faced controversy over AI-generated short video advertising content and issued an official response on August 5, stating that all related videos had been taken down that day and that a comprehensive review of its video material review process had been initiated. A Supor representative said the incident reflected gaps in the company's content management and publishing review mechanisms for authorized stores, and that it had further strengthened content management and review procedures for authorized stores.

The videos in question were posted on Supor's official account. One showed two men in a bathroom when a woman suddenly pushed open the door and demonstrated a Supor-brand steam cleaner. The account also published videos with similar storylines, including "a girl is showering when a bath attendant uncle comes in to scrub her back" and "a girl is using the toilet when a cleaning uncle comes in to tidy up," with titles containing phrases such as "uncle has seen everything." The videos drew discomfort from some netizens and have since been removed.
