Tongling Nonferrous H1 Net Profit Up 107.93% to RMB 2.993 Billion

Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group reported a 107.93% year-on-year increase in net profit attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2026, reaching RMB 2.993 billion. Revenue rose 59.95% to RMB 121.77 billion. In the second quarter, net profit surged 424.18% to RMB 1.654 billion.

Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group reported its 2026 interim results on August 27. For the first half of the year, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 121.77 billion, up 59.95% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 2.993 billion, up 107.93% year on year. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.22, up 100% year on year.

In the second quarter, the company posted operating revenue of RMB 57.071 billion, up 39.58% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 1.654 billion, up 424.18% year on year.

Separately, Aluminum Corporation of China (Chalco) disclosed its 2026 interim report on the same day. In the first half, Chalco generated operating revenue of RMB 125.413 billion, up 7.74% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 67.91% to RMB 11.871 billion, with basic earnings per share of RMB 0.693, up 67.8%. In the second quarter, revenue increased 10.39% to RMB 66.919 billion, while net profit attributable to shareholders grew 79.47% to RMB 6.344 billion. The company proposed a cash dividend of RMB 2.76 per ten shares (tax inclusive). During the reporting period, capacity utilization and equipment operation rates remained high, with electrolytic aluminum output reaching a record high. Production of aluminum alloys, core fine alumina, and gallium metal exceeded the full-year plan ahead of schedule.
