Unigroup Guoxin Says Special Memory Market Share Reaches About 80%

Unigroup Guoxin Microelectronics said at its earnings briefing on August 19 that its product portfolio in the special integrated circuit segment covers multiple professional areas, including FPGA, AI plus visual perception, processors, programmable devices, memory, network and interface, analog devices, and ASIC/SoPC. Among these, the company holds a market share of about 80% in the special memory segment.

On pricing strategy, the company said that memory products have largely not been raised in price previously, owing to national strategic considerations and long-term customer relationships. As downstream applications gradually evolve toward intelligence and data storage demand continues to grow, the company made the above statement regarding the long-term development prospects of the special memory chip market.
