Visionox Unit Signs RMB 300 Million AMOLED Technology License With Hefei Visionox
Visionox disclosed that its controlled subsidiary Gu'an Yungu and the company plan to sign a technology license contract with associate Hefei Visionox to support upgrades at Gu'an Yungu's display panel production line. Hefei Visionox will license relevant patents and proprietary technology, with Gu'an Yungu as the sole payment obligor. The agreed license fee is RMB 300 million including tax, covering 860 AMOLED-related patents, patent applications and proprietary technologies.
Visionox disclosed that, to advance the technological upgrading and construction of the display panel production line of its controlled subsidiary Gu'an Yungu, the company and Gu'an Yungu plan to sign a Technology License Contract with associate company Hefei Visionox.
Under the contract, Hefei Visionox will provide the company and Gu'an Yungu with licenses for relevant patents and proprietary technology. Gu'an Yungu, as the sole obligor for payment of the technology license fee, will pay the patent technology license fee as agreed.
Based on the appraisal results, the parties to the transaction have reached a consensus that the technology license fee for this transaction is RMB 300 million, including tax.
The patents and proprietary technology to be licensed are AMOLED-related invention and utility model patents, patent applications and proprietary technology held by Hefei Visionox and filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office or relevant authorities in other countries and regions, totaling 860 items.
